Join Our Team as an Order Fulfillment Specialist – Hybrid | Cambridge, MA Opportunity to go permanent in early 2026!

Are you ready to take your logistics and order management skills to the next level? We're searching for a detail-oriented, SAP-savvy Order Fulfillment Specialist to join our growing team in Cambridge, MA! This is a hybrid role, requiring three days onsite each week.

If you thrive in a fast-paced, global environment, have dangerous goods certification (or are willing to obtain it), and know the ins and outs of export laws, this could be your perfect fit!

What You’ll Do:

• Enter and manage domestic and international sales orders using SAP ERP, ensuring accurate and timely processing.

• Work hands-on with batteries and materials requiring dangerous goods documentation.

• Create and manage shipping paperwork, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, packing slips, and DG labels.

• Track and monitor KPIs to ensure targets are met and performance aligns with company goals.

• Represent the order processing team in cross-functional meetings and collaborate with leadership to streamline operations.

• Be a subject matter expert in order fulfillment processes, providing insights for continuous improvement.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 2+ years of experience in customer service, international operations, or order management (or equivalent with a degree).

• Proficiency in SAP sales order processing and familiarity with RMAs, standard/project orders, and logistics documents.

• Working knowledge of export/trade compliance regulations.

• strong skills in MS Office tools, especially Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Dangerous Goods certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.

• Bachelor's degree is a plus but not required.

• Experience working in order management, logistics, finance, or process improvement roles.

Responsibilities

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Manage and process domestic and international sales orders in SAP , ensuring compliance with export laws and proper handling of dangerous goods, including lithium batteries.
• Prepare and maintain accurate transportation documentation , such as Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Dangerous Goods documents, and shipping labels, supporting timely and compliant order fulfillment.
• Monitor KPIs, support continuous improvement initiatives, and serve as a subject matter expert on SAP order fulfillment processes, collaborating across departments to drive system efficiency and data accuracy.

Here’s what you’ll have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in order management, logistics, or international operations.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP sales order processing, export/trade compliance, and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
