Overview of the Job

Experience and Qualifications

You should be capable of inspiring, encouraging, and developing young children, each of whom will have different abilities, challenges, and personalities. The top candidates will also have a creative mindset and good administrative skills, in order to plan and execute lessons which are memorable, innovative, and achieve the desired learning outcomes.
Developing a curriculum:
Planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons that align with developmental milestones, incorporating activities like storytelling, singing, arts and crafts, and outdoor play.
Teaching basic skills:
• Introducing concepts like colors, shapes, numbers, letters, basic vocabulary, and simple counting.
• Fostering social skills:
• Encouraging cooperation, sharing, taking turns, and positive interactions with peers
• Promoting fine motor skills:
• Engaging children in activities that develop hand-eye coordination, such as writing, drawing, and using manipulatives
• Observing and assessing progress:
• Monitoring each child's development, identifying individual needs, and keeping records of their progress
• Communicating with parents:
- Regularly updating families on their child's learning, addressing concerns, and collaborating on their child's education
- Maintaining a safe and positive classroom environment:
- Establishing routines, rules, and clear expectations for behavior
